High performance resin cleaner!

Solvent-based cleaners remain popular in industrial applications due to their cleaning power; they remove resins, contaminants and greases. Some examples of strong cleaning solvents are acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and toluene among others.However, they’re highly corrosive substances which makes them effective but also increases the risk of health hazards. Most solvent-based cleaners contain VOCs (volatile organic compounds), all of which pose serious environmental and health concerns.

Working with solvent-based cleaners may appear cost-effective in the short term but can put your yourself, employees and family at serious risk of developing short-term and long-term health issues.

To protect their customer’s health, POLYMÈRES TECHNOLOGIES has formulated the POLY CLEANER™ which is a high performance, VOC free cleaner especially formulated to easily clean residues of CHILL EPOXY™ products.

With this unique formulation, you can clean effectively any spilling, or resin traces (epoxy, polyurethane and silicone) on your working surface, counter tops, floors, as well as on your dirty tools, spatulas or containers.

POLY CLEANER™ is an excellent alternative to solvent-based products such as alcohol, acetone, petroleum, white spirit or any harmful chemicals.

Application

Apply the POLY CLEANER™ to a clean cloth and wipe the soiled area. If the resin is almost or completely polymerized, apply a cloth soaked with POLY CLEANER™ to the stained area and let stand for 24 hours at 22°C. After this period, use a metal spatula to scrape off the resin residue. Repeat the procedure if necessary. When done, always wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth to remove any POLY CLEANER™ residue. Always spot test prior to use.

Store product in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at 22°C.

FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid direct contact with the product, wear gloves and goggles.

It is not recommended to apply the POLY CLEANER ™ on ABS, PVC, styrene or other similar plastic surface.
